Samsung Galaxy A57 5G Price in Bangladesh
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G sits in the upper mid-range smartphone category. Its price depends on RAM, storage, warranty, seller, and whether the handset is officially imported or sold through an unofficial channel.
At the time of research, a Bangladesh retailer listed the 8GB/256GB model at around ৳69,999, while other listings showed different prices for higher-memory configurations. These are retailer-listed prices rather than a guarantee of Samsung’s current nationwide price.
Expected buying budget by variant

| 8GB/256GB | Around ৳69,999 at the cited retailer |
| 12GB/256GB | Check current seller listings |

Before buying the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G in Bangladesh, confirm the final price, official warranty, IMEI status, included accessories, and return policy. Avoid relying on an old price from a blog or social media post.
1. Premium and Slim Design
One of the most noticeable improvements in the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is its slim and lightweight construction.
The phone measures approximately 6.9mm thick and weighs 179 grams. This gives it a sleek profile compared with many larger smartphones, making it suitable for users who prefer a premium-looking device without excessive bulk.
The phone combines a glass back with an aluminium frame, creating a more refined appearance than many entry-level devices. Its flat-edged design and carefully arranged rear cameras also give it a modern Galaxy identity.
Samsung offers the device in selected Awesome colour options, including Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac in certain markets.
Is the design practical?
Yes. The lightweight body should be comfortable for everyday activities such as messaging, browsing, watching videos, and taking photographs. However, its 6.7-inch screen still makes it a relatively large phone, so people with smaller hands may need two hands for some tasks.
The glass construction also means a protective case is worth considering.
2. 6.7-Inch Super AMOLED Plus Display
The Galaxy A57 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is one of the phone’s strongest features.
Samsung’s AMOLED technology is known for deep blacks, vibrant colours, and strong contrast. These qualities make the screen suitable for streaming films, watching YouTube, browsing social media, reading articles, and viewing photographs.
What does the 120Hz refresh rate offer?
A 120Hz refresh rate allows the display to refresh up to 120 times per second. Compared with a conventional 60Hz screen, scrolling through webpages and menus can look noticeably smoother.
Supported games can also benefit from the higher refresh rate, although actual gaming frame rates depend on the game and the phone’s performance.
Display highlights
- Large 6.7-inch viewing area
- Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels
- Super AMOLED Plus technology
- Up to 120Hz refresh rate
- Vision Booster for improved outdoor visibility
- Slimmer bezels for an immersive viewing experience
For people who spend several hours a day watching videos or browsing the internet, the display is a compelling reason to consider the Galaxy A57 5G.
3. Exynos 1680 Processor and Performance
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1680 processor, manufactured using a 4nm process.
This chipset is designed to handle everyday smartphone activities while supporting demanding applications and modern connectivity features.
For typical users, the phone should be well suited to:
- Social media and web browsing
- WhatsApp, Messenger, and video calls
- Online classes and office applications
- Photo editing and short-form video creation
- Video streaming and everyday multitasking
- Casual and moderately demanding games
Performance also depends on the selected RAM configuration, software version, background applications, and storage usage.
Is the Galaxy A57 5G good for gaming?
The Galaxy A57 5G can be a reasonable choice for casual gaming and popular multiplayer games. However, buyers who prioritise maximum frame rates, demanding graphics, or extended competitive gaming should compare it with performance-focused alternatives before spending this much.
A mid-range processor should not automatically be treated as equivalent to a flagship gaming chipset. Intensive games can also generate heat and reduce sustained performance.
Verdict: The Galaxy A57 5G is best considered an all-round smartphone rather than a dedicated gaming phone.
4. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G Camera Review
Samsung equips the Galaxy A57 5G with a triple rear-camera system and a 12MP front camera.
The setup includes a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
50MP main camera
The primary camera is the most important camera on the device. It is designed for everyday photographs, including family gatherings, travel, food, landscapes, and street photography.
Optical image stabilisation (OIS) helps reduce the effects of hand movement. This can be useful when taking photographs in lower light or recording video while moving.
Samsung also highlights improvements to image processing and low-light photography on the Galaxy A57 generation.
12MP ultrawide camera
The ultrawide camera is useful when you want to fit more into a single frame.
It can help capture:
- Group photographs
- Buildings and architecture
- Landscapes and travel scenes
- Indoor environments where stepping backwards is difficult
Ultrawide cameras generally perform differently from the main camera, particularly in low light. Results will depend on the shooting conditions.
5MP macro camera
The macro camera is designed for close-up photographs of small subjects, such as flowers, textures, and everyday objects.
It provides an additional shooting option, although its lower resolution means it should not be the primary reason to purchase the phone.
12MP front camera
The 12MP selfie camera is suitable for video calls, social media posts, selfies, and everyday recordings. Samsung also lists Super HDR support for front-camera video on its regional product information.
Camera verdict
The camera system offers useful versatility for everyday users. The main camera is the most important part of the package, while the ultrawide and macro cameras provide additional flexibility.
However, a high megapixel count does not guarantee better photographs. If camera quality is your main priority, compare actual sample images, portrait processing, night photographs, and video stabilisation before buying.
5. Battery Life and 45W Fast Charging
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
For typical everyday use, this capacity should provide practical all-day endurance. Your results will depend on screen brightness, mobile signal strength, gaming time, video streaming, and whether you frequently use 5G.
Samsung advertises extended battery life, including up to two days under its estimated usage conditions. This should not be interpreted as a guarantee for every user.
How fast does the Galaxy A57 5G charge?
The phone supports 45W wired charging through Samsung’s Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology. Samsung states that the battery can reach approximately 60% in 30 minutes under its stated conditions.
Actual charging speed depends on the compatible power adapter, cable, battery temperature, and current charge level. Confirm whether a compatible adapter is included with the specific retail package you purchase.
Battery highlights
- 5,000mAh battery capacity
- 45W wired charging support
- Battery capacity designed for everyday use
- Non-removable battery
- No need to carry a separate battery pack for every ordinary outing, provided your usage is moderate
The lack of wireless charging may disappoint users who expect this feature at a higher mid-range price.
6. Software, Android 16, and AI Features
Software support is an important consideration when buying a smartphone you intend to use for several years.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G launched with Android 16 and Samsung’s One UI 8.5 interface. Its software experience combines familiar Android features with Samsung’s customisation options and Galaxy ecosystem tools.
Useful software features
Depending on regional availability and software version, the Galaxy A57 5G supports features such as:
- Circle to Search: Search for information about compatible items directly from your screen.
- Object Eraser: Remove selected unwanted objects from supported photographs.
- Best Face: Help improve group photographs in supported shooting modes.
- Photo editing suggestions: Get guidance for enhancing supported images.
- Samsung ecosystem integration: Connect with compatible Galaxy devices and Samsung services.
- Security updates: Receive eligible security patches throughout the supported period.
Samsung announced the Galaxy A57 5G with upgraded Awesome Intelligence features. However, the exact availability of individual AI tools can vary by region, language, account, and software release.
How long will Samsung support the Galaxy A57 5G?
Samsung’s product information describes support for up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the Galaxy A57 5G.
That is an important advantage for people who want to keep a phone for several years. Update timing and availability can vary by country, carrier, and device variant.
7. IP68 Water and Dust Resistance
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
This rating provides additional protection against dust ingress and specified freshwater immersion conditions under controlled laboratory testing.
It is useful for people who want a phone that can better withstand everyday environmental exposure. Nevertheless, water resistance is not permanent and may decrease as a device ages or suffers physical damage.
Do not deliberately expose the phone to seawater, soapy water, high-pressure water, or extreme conditions. Liquid damage may not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
For a phone in this price category, IP68 protection is a valuable feature.
8. Connectivity and Everyday Features
The Galaxy A57 5G supports modern connectivity features for work, entertainment, and communication.
Its capabilities include 5G mobile networking, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS-based navigation, USB Type-C, and stereo speakers.
Is 5G useful in Bangladesh?
The benefit depends on whether a compatible 5G network is available in your area and whether your SIM, operator, and selected phone variant support the relevant network bands.
If you live in an area with limited 5G coverage, the phone will still work on compatible 4G networks. Before purchasing an imported handset, check its network-band compatibility and local warranty status.
The Galaxy A57 5G does not include a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired audio generally requires a compatible USB-C accessory or adapter.
9. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G: Advantages and Disadvantages
Pros
- Premium, slim, and lightweight design
- Large 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus display
- 50MP main camera with OIS
- 5,000mAh battery
- 45W wired charging support
- IP68 water and dust resistance
- Modern Android software and useful AI tools
- Long-term software support
- 5G connectivity
Cons
- Higher price than many budget and mid-range alternatives
- Not the best choice for maximum-performance gaming
- No 3.5mm headphone jack
- No wireless charging
- No microSD card expansion
- Camera performance may not justify the price for every buyer
- Charger availability depends on the retail package
The Galaxy A57 5G focuses on delivering a balanced daily experience rather than leading every category on specifications alone.
10. Samsung Galaxy A57 5G vs Samsung Galaxy A56 5G
The Galaxy A57 5G succeeds the Galaxy A56 5G, but whether upgrading makes sense depends on your current phone and the price difference.
| Feature | Galaxy A57 5G | Galaxy A56 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus, 120Hz | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, 120Hz |
| Processor | Exynos 1680 | Exynos 1580 |
| Main camera | 50MP with OIS | 50MP with OIS |
| Ultrawide camera | 12MP | 12MP |
| Macro camera | 5MP | 5MP |
| Battery | 5,000mAh | 5,000mAh |
| Wired charging | Up to 45W | Up to 45W |
| Design | 6.9mm, 179g | Slightly thicker and heavier |
| Software at launch | Android 16 | Android 15 |
The Galaxy A57 5G offers a newer processor, a slimmer body, and newer software at launch. However, the camera resolutions and battery capacity remain similar on paper.
If you already own a Galaxy A56 5G, upgrading may not be necessary unless the newer design, processor, or additional software features matter to you. If you are buying your first phone, compare the actual selling prices of both models.
11. Who Should Buy the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G?
The Galaxy A57 5G may be a good choice for:
Students: The large display, dependable everyday performance, and long software support are useful for studying, online classes, and entertainment.
Office users: It can handle communication, email, documents, video calls, and multitasking.
Content creators: The main camera, ultrawide lens, and front camera provide flexibility for everyday photography and social media content.
Samsung fans: People who prefer One UI, Samsung services, and the Galaxy ecosystem may appreciate the familiar software experience.
Long-term smartphone buyers: The extended update policy and IP68 rating are useful advantages for someone planning to keep a device for years.
12. Who Should Avoid the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G?
You may want to consider another smartphone if:
- You primarily play demanding games at the highest graphics settings.
- You want the strongest possible camera system for the price.
- You need expandable storage through a microSD card.
- You require wireless charging.
- You want the lowest possible price rather than a polished overall experience.
In these cases, compare competing phones based on independent performance tests, real camera samples, software support, and total purchase cost.
13. Is the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G Worth Buying in 2026?
The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is a well-rounded mid-range smartphone with several practical strengths. Its bright AMOLED display, slim design, OIS-equipped main camera, 5,000mAh battery, IP68 protection, and extended software support make it suitable for everyday use.
Its main challenge is value for money. Buyers should consider whether Samsung’s software experience, build quality, and update policy justify the price compared with alternatives that may offer stronger gaming performance or different camera capabilities.
For buyers in Bangladesh, the decision should also depend on official warranty, the current retail price, and the availability of a compatible 5G network.
Final verdict: The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G is worth considering if you want a stylish Samsung smartphone for everyday use, media consumption, photography, and long-term ownership. However, it is sensible to compare prices and performance before making a final decision.
