Specifications and configurations can vary by market. Confirm the exact regional model before purchasing.
1. Design and Build Quality
The first thing that makes the HONOR X8c attractive is its slim and lightweight design. Measuring approximately 7.12mm thick and weighing around 174g, it is relatively easy to carry in a pocket or hold while browsing, messaging and taking photos.
HONOR offers the phone in colours such as Marrs Green, Midnight Black and Moonlight White, with colour availability varying by region. The design focuses on a modern appearance rather than an unnecessarily bulky body.
A comfortable phone for everyday use
A lightweight design can make a noticeable difference when using a smartphone for extended periods. Whether you are scrolling through social media, reading articles, watching videos or chatting with friends, the HONOR X8c is designed to remain comfortable in the hand.
Its large display also provides an immersive viewing area without making the phone particularly heavy.
Water and dust resistance
The HONOR X8c carries an IP64 rating, meaning it has protection against dust and water splashes under specified testing conditions. HONOR also advertises durability testing for drops and other everyday accidents.
However, IP64 does not mean the phone is waterproof. Avoid submerging it in water, and remember that protective performance may decline with normal wear and tear.
Design verdict: The HONOR X8c is worth considering if you prefer a slim, lightweight smartphone with a modern appearance and some protection against everyday splashes.
2. Display: 120Hz AMOLED Screen
The display is one of the most appealing features of the HONOR X8c.
It comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel and Full HD+ resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. The 120Hz refresh rate allows supported content and interface animations to appear smoother than on a conventional 60Hz screen.
What makes the AMOLED display useful?
AMOLED technology can produce deep blacks, rich colours and strong contrast. This makes the HONOR X8c suitable for watching movies, viewing photographs, browsing websites and using social media applications.
The Full HD+ resolution provides enough detail for reading text, viewing high-resolution images and watching compatible videos.
High refresh rate and outdoor visibility
The 120Hz refresh rate helps scrolling and supported animations feel fluid. You may notice the difference when moving between apps, browsing long web pages or navigating menus.
HONOR also advertises a peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits for the display under specified conditions. Actual brightness depends on the content, settings and environment, so peak brightness should not be interpreted as the screen’s constant brightness in every situation.
Display verdict: For people who value screen quality, smooth scrolling and vibrant colours, the HONOR X8c offers a strong set of display specifications for its category.
3. Camera Review: 108MP Main Camera and 50MP Selfie Camera
Photography is another major selling point of the HONOR X8c. Its camera system includes a high-resolution main sensor, a secondary wide-angle camera and a high-resolution front camera.
108MP rear main camera
The primary camera has a resolution of 108MP and supports optical image stabilization. OIS helps compensate for small hand movements, potentially reducing blur in photographs and making handheld shooting more stable.
The camera is designed for several types of photography, including:
- Everyday photos of friends and family
- Travel photography and landscapes
- Food photography
- Portraits and social media content
- High-resolution photographs in suitable lighting
- Night photography using supported modes
The 108MP specification does not guarantee that every image will be exceptionally detailed. Lighting, image processing, focus and shooting mode all influence the final result. High-resolution capture is available through supported modes, and ordinary photographs may use pixel-binning techniques.
5MP wide-angle camera
The secondary 5MP camera provides a wider perspective, making it useful for capturing landscapes, buildings and group photographs when the standard camera’s field of view is too narrow.
Its lower resolution means that fine details may be less pronounced than in images taken with the main camera, particularly in challenging lighting.
50MP front camera for selfies
The 50MP front camera is designed for selfies, video calls and social media photography.
It can be useful for people who regularly take self-portraits, record short videos or communicate through video-calling applications. Supported portrait and night modes offer additional flexibility.
As with the rear camera, the sensor’s resolution is only one part of the overall experience. Skin tones, exposure, processing and low-light performance should be assessed through actual photographs.
Can the HONOR X8c record good videos?
The official specifications list video recording up to 1080p. This is suitable for everyday clips, family videos, video calls and casual social media content.
However, users who need 4K recording or more advanced video capabilities should compare the HONOR X8c with alternatives before purchasing.
Camera verdict: The HONOR X8c has appealing camera hardware for everyday photography and selfies. Its 108MP main camera with OIS and 50MP front camera are particularly attractive on paper, although real-world image quality depends on the shooting conditions.
4. Performance: Snapdragon 685 Processor
The HONOR X8c uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685, an octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.
This chipset is designed for mainstream smartphone use rather than flagship-level computing or intensive gaming.
Everyday performance
For typical users, the processor is suited to activities such as:
- Browsing websites and reading online articles
- Messaging through WhatsApp and similar applications
- Watching YouTube videos
- Using Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms
- Online shopping and navigation
- Handling documents and email
- Switching between everyday applications
Actual responsiveness will also depend on the amount of available RAM, background applications, software updates and storage usage.
Is the HONOR X8c good for gaming?
Casual games should be a more natural fit for the Snapdragon 685 than demanding 3D games. Popular competitive games may run, but the best graphics settings and frame rates depend on the individual game and its optimization.
If you play graphics-intensive games for long periods, a phone with a more powerful processor and GPU may offer a better experience.
The HONOR X8c is therefore better suited to everyday users than to gamers who prioritize maximum frame rates.
Performance verdict: The Snapdragon 685 should be adequate for routine tasks, but performance-focused buyers should not confuse the phone’s premium-looking design with flagship processing power.
5. RAM and Storage Options
The HONOR X8c is available in several memory and storage configurations, depending on the market. Listed options include 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and an 8GB RAM version with 512GB storage.
Which variant should you choose?
128GB storage: Suitable for users who primarily use messaging apps, browse the internet and stream media.
256GB storage: A practical middle ground for users who regularly download applications, save photographs and store videos.
512GB storage: Better suited to people who keep large photo libraries, offline videos, games and other files on their phones.
Some marketing materials refer to virtual RAM expansion. This feature uses part of the internal storage to supplement memory management; it is not equivalent to having the same amount of additional physical RAM.
Before buying, check the exact configuration. Storage and RAM availability may differ between countries, and the phone’s regional specification should take priority over a retailer’s generic listing.
6. Battery Life and 35W Fast Charging
The HONOR X8c has a 5,000mAh battery, with a rated capacity of 4,900mAh. It supports 35W HONOR SuperCharge.
For a typical smartphone user, this battery capacity provides a reasonable starting point for a full day of mixed use. Actual endurance depends on screen brightness, refresh-rate settings, mobile signal strength, gaming, camera use and background activity.
What can you expect from the battery?
The phone is designed for everyday activities such as:
- Messaging and social networking
- Watching online videos
- Browsing websites
- Taking photographs
- Listening to music
- Making calls and attending online meetings
Users who spend many hours gaming, recording videos or using mobile data may need to recharge sooner.
How fast is 35W charging?
The supported 35W charging system can reduce charging time compared with slower charging solutions. However, the actual charging speed depends on the charger, cable, temperature, battery level and charging conditions.
It is best to use a compatible charger and follow the manufacturer’s charging guidance. Do not assume a specific full-charge time without a controlled test of the exact regional model.
Battery verdict: The 5,000mAh battery and 35W charging support make the HONOR X8c a practical option for everyday use, although heavy users should check independent battery tests.
7. Software and User Experience
The HONOR X8c originally runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. The software provides HONOR’s interface and additional features on top of Android.
The interface is designed around app navigation, customization, notification controls and system-level tools.
AI photo editing features
One advertised feature is AI Eraser, which can help remove selected unwanted objects from compatible photographs.
For example, you might want to remove a distracting object in the background of a travel photo or clean up a picture before posting it online. The usefulness of the result depends on the image and the complexity of the background.
Feature availability can vary with software version, region and device configuration.
Software updates
Before purchasing in 2026, check HONOR’s regional support information for the phone’s current software version, security updates and remaining update commitment.
Do not assume that every device will receive identical updates at the same time. Update availability may vary by market and carrier.
Software verdict: MagicOS offers a modern Android-based experience, but buyers who plan to keep the phone for several years should verify its current update policy.
8. Connectivity and Additional Features
The HONOR X8c supports 4G LTE rather than 5G. This is important for buyers who want access to newer-generation mobile networks.
Other listed features include:
- Dual Nano-SIM support
- Dual-band Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth connectivity
- USB Type-C port
- GPS and other satellite positioning systems
- Fingerprint recognition
- Face recognition
- Gyroscope and other standard sensors
The phone does not list a conventional 3.5mm headphone jack in its official specifications, so wired audio users should check compatibility with USB-C headphones or a suitable adapter.
Network bands and connectivity options can vary between model numbers. Confirm compatibility with your local mobile operator before buying an imported device.
9. HONOR X8c Price in Bangladesh
The price of the HONOR X8c in Bangladesh depends on the RAM and storage configuration, warranty coverage, retailer and current stock.
At launch in Bangladesh in 2025, the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage version was reported at an official price of ৳34,999. Later listings have shown different prices, including promotional and unofficial-import offers.
Because retail prices and stock change, check current offers from HONOR Bangladesh and established retailers before making a purchase.
What should you check before buying?
- Warranty: Confirm whether the phone has an official manufacturer warranty or only a seller warranty.
- Exact variant: Check the RAM, storage and model number.
- Network compatibility: Make sure the model supports your operator’s 4G bands.
- Return policy: Understand the retailer’s replacement and refund terms.
- Accessories: Check whether the charger, cable and protective case are included.
- Software status: Confirm the installed Android version and available updates.
A lower advertised price is not necessarily the better deal if the phone lacks dependable warranty coverage.

11. HONOR X8c vs Other Smartphones
When comparing the HONOR X8c with competing phones, focus on the features you use most rather than relying on megapixel counts or marketing claims.
| Priority | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Display quality | AMOLED versus LCD, resolution and refresh rate |
| Photography | Main-camera samples, OIS, night shots and ultrawide quality |
| Gaming | Processor benchmarks, sustained performance and thermals |
| Battery | Independent endurance tests and charging speed |
| Long-term use | Software-update policy and repair support |
| Connectivity | 4G or 5G support and local network compatibility |
| Value | Price, storage, warranty and included accessories |
A competing phone with a more powerful processor may be a better choice for gaming, while another model with a strong camera-processing system may produce better photographs despite having fewer megapixels.
Similarly, a newer phone with 5G support could be preferable for buyers who plan to keep their device for several years.
The best comparison depends on the price difference and the features available in your market.
12. Who Should Buy the HONOR X8c?
The HONOR X8c may be a good fit for several types of users.
Students: The large display, everyday performance and storage options make it suitable for browsing, online classes, reading documents and social networking.
Social media users: The high-resolution selfie camera and main camera provide useful hardware for casual photography and content creation.
Everyday smartphone users: Messaging, browsing, video streaming and routine applications are a natural fit for the device’s hardware.
People who value design: Its slim body and relatively low weight may appeal to users who prefer a comfortable, stylish phone.
However, users who need 5G, high-end gaming performance, 4K video recording or the longest possible software support should consider alternatives as well.
13. Is the HONOR X8c Worth Buying in 2026?
The HONOR X8c can still be worth considering in 2026 if its current price is competitive and its features match your priorities.
Its strongest selling points are the AMOLED display, slim design, 108MP OIS-equipped main camera, 50MP selfie camera and 5,000mAh battery.
The main compromises are its 4G-only connectivity and mainstream Snapdragon 685 processor. These limitations matter more if you want a phone for demanding games or expect to use 5G networks.
Before buying, compare the HONOR X8c with similarly priced models released more recently. A newer device might provide a faster processor, longer update support or improved battery technology, even if it does not match every feature of the X8c.
Final recommendation: Choose the HONOR X8c if you value its display, design and camera specifications and can find it at a competitive price. Consider other options if performance, 5G connectivity or long-term software support is your highest priority.
